July Changes

July Changes

19 July 2021 – what changed?

Almost all remaining Coronavirus related restrictions in England previously imposed by the Government were lifted on 19 July. This means the wearing of face masks, scanning of the NHS QR code for track & trace, restricted social contact – including the ‘rule of 6’ – distancing rules and table service are no longer legal requirements.

The comfort and wellbeing of our customers and our team, however, has always been a priority at The yellow house which means we will continue to manage risks associated with Coronavirus. We will ensure our service is as ‘normal’ as possible while at the same time making sure you feel safe dining with us.

We expect customers will be respectful to other customers and our team and will wash and/or sanitise hands on arrival. The wearing of face masks on our premises, checking in with the NHS app and ordering online for table service remain possible and are now optional.

We will not be moving tables closer together than they have been during recent months, except as required for individual party reservations, our bar and dining room are well ventilated and dining on our covered park terrace remains a pleasant option.

Staff who feel unwell will not be asked to work until they are better, table service staff will continue to wear disposable face masks and we will maintain our rigorous surface cleaning and hygiene routines.

We sincerely hope these measures will ensure all customers can feel safe and enjoy dining with us.
