We are very pleased to announce we’re taking part in the Bordeaux Wines UK “Bordeaux By The Glass” promotion in partnership with Square Meal during July 2023.
We’ll be opening four Bordeaux wines to pour by the glass for you to enjoy with a meal at The yellow house during the next couple of weeks.
There will be a choice of two white wines, one rosé wine and a red wine available by the glass and, in case you can’t decide which wine to try, a Bordeaux flight of all four wines.
We’ll also crack open a bottle or two of the highly rated Château Beaumont, Haut-Médoc,Cru Bourgeois Supérieur, 2019 for you to taste on Friday and Saturday evenings, perfect with one of our grilled steaks.
Bordeaux is the largest area of vineyards in the world producing a great range of wines to suit all tastes and budgets. The diversity of character and style is the result of the varied soils, local geography and climate, and the skills of winemakers with many years of experience. Well-know grape varieties such as Merlot, Cabarnet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon all originate from Bordeaux.

Mostly Sauvignon Blanc with a splash of Semillon and a touch of Muscadelle, this is a light juicy crisp white with gooseberry & grapefruit freshness. From £4.50/glass

A blend of 65% Sauvignon Blanc with 35% Semillon adding richness, this is fresh & elegant with lovely notes of grapefruit and lemon zest. From £4.75/glass

Château Reynier Superieur 2019
